The front board has bumps to the top and bottom right hand corners. The bottom edge has a 6cm crease with a horizontal mark to the top edge. The spine is slightly cocked. There is a tape mark to the front and rear inside boards with ink marks to the front inside board probably from ink stamps to the front end paper. This page has been torn out. There is a library stamp to the rear of the colour frontis and 15p has been written to the top in pen. There is a library number and details to the edition page. The binding is a little loose and page 51 has come loose. There is a tear to the hinge of page 55 to page 90. 
Dust wrapper/ The top and bottom of the front flap hinge have chips. The top and bottom of the spine has loss, rubs and chips to either side. There are two small holes. All these faults have paper behind  The rear panel has a 2cm tear to the top right hand edge. The bottom edge is rubbed. The top and bottom of the rear flap hinge has chips with rubs. There are tape marks with surface loss to the front and rear flap. Not price cut. The rear of the jacket is clean.
