Biggles Defies the Swastika W E Johns

The boards and spine are clean, bright and straight. The lettering and pictorial illustation are bold and clear. The bottom of the spine is bumped. There is a long inscription to the front inside board. The text block has minor foxing, this has not spread to the internal pages, which are bright and clean.
Dust wrapper/The front cover has some browning to the top edge. There is a chip to the top of the front flap hinge and a rub to the bottom.. The top edge has a tiny closed tear. The top and bottom of the spine have edge loss and rubs. The johns is affected at the top. The back cover is a little grubby, with some browning to the top edge. There are tiny chips to the top and bottom of the rear flap hinge. Price cut. The rear of the jacket is clean.
