First edition first printing. 
The front and back cover are without fault. The spine is very slightly cocked but otherwise very good.The front end paper and inside board are clean with no inscription. The frontis is bright and clear as are all the plates. The binding is tight and the internal pages are all clean and bright. No foxing.
Dust wrapper/ The front cover spine and back cover are all bright and bold, with no sunning to the spine. There are small chips to all four corners of the front cover with a larger 1cm x 1cm chip to the bottom right hand corner. There is a closed tear 1cm to the middle top. The bottom left hand corner has a closed tear 3cm. The top of the spine is rubbed and the bottom edge has tiny closed tears and minor rubs and loss. The left hand top and bottom of the spine has tiny chips. The back cover has a closed tear top left hand side 3cm. The front and rear flap are very good. Not price cut./1370
